Prior to her arrival at the University at Buffalo in the Fall of 2006, she completed her doctoral work at the University of Maryland, College Park. Jenna received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She is interested in the impact of child and adolescent friend and peer relationships on well-being. She is also interested in how individual factors (e.g., personality) influence psychosocial adjustment. Chloe received her B.S. in Psychology and B.S. in Applied Statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). After which, she received her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University. Chloe\u2019s research interests include understanding interpersonal influences, including peer and family influences, on psychological well-being. Rachel received her B.S. in Psychological Science and Mathematics. Afterwards, she gained experience in neuropsychological evaluation in the Buffalo area. Her research interests include interpersonal factors that impact emotional wellbeing in children and adolescents. Pia received her B.S. in Psychology from Emory University. Pia\u2019s research interests are focused on the reciprocal relationships between interpersonal relationships in adolescence \u2013 familial, peers, romantic, school personnel, community \u2013 and depression and anxiety, and how identity and cultural expectations can influence that reciprocal relationship. Her research interests center on how daily experiences of solitude and social connectedness contribute to socioemotional functioning and influence the development of psychopathology during adolescence and young adulthood. She is particularly interested in identifying the individual and contextual factors that shape the experience and psychosocial impacts of solitude.
