At CADL, we believe that every team member brings a unique perspective and value to the work we do. As a member of our team, you can expect to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learn what it means to do research in a lab environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Better understand the types of people who use AAC devices <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop a deep knowledge of various devices and access methods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gain exposure to how grants are managed <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve your computer skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get pushed out of your comfort zone in a supportive, inclusive environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have direct access to all members our our team, including our director<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share your ideas openly in biweekly team meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be paired up with an existing student as a mentor for your first semester<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn how to transcribe with the transcription software, ELAN<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a flexible working schedule <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get course credit for your work (it is on the student to get the forms filled out)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be paid hourly for your time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have the opportunity to pursue an independent study or masters thesis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make friends and fully experience the
