The UB MBA goes beyond conventional academics by fostering a culture of collaboration and experiential learning. Bio: I hail from Bhopal – well known as city of lakes in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. Bhopal is also known for its unfortunate Bhopal Gas Tragedy that badly hit the city in December 1984 at the Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL) pesticide plant in Bhopal. Apart from this tragic incident, my city offers beautiful landscape surrounded by the lakes and excellent flora and fauna that makes my city an ideal place to dwell with fresh air.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Economics in my hometown and moved outside my city to pursue my first master’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations Management. After successfully working in the advertising and media industry, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in information technology since IT was changing everything. This phenomenal change at the global level motivated me to study Information Technology from Valparaiso University in Indiana.

While I was pursuing my masters in IT, I decided to pursue an MBA but the COVID pandemic shook my plans. Eventually I received admission to the University at Buffalo’s MBA program and was awarded a Connection 2 Excellence scholarship.

In my free time I love to research about Indian economic and political scenario, about the great Indian leaders who worked hard in building the India – which is known for not just its culture but about its diversity and unity. I simply love travelling either solo or with my husband, enjoy cooking, arts, and I a fitness freak who hardly had any time during the MBA program to work on her fitness!
