By understanding how children think about who knows what, researchers can learn more about how children reason about expertise and how this affects word learning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Help us learn how children decide who to learn from when discovering new toys and tools!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This study will take place over Zoom, live with a researcher! During the Zoom call, we will ask you to sit in front of your computer with your child. Your child would learn some new words and then be asked to say them and match them to the correct image. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility:\u00a0<\/strong>3- to 5-year-olds<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Duration:&nbsp;<\/strong>20-30 minutes on Zoom<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Compensation:<\/strong>\u00a0Families will receive a $5 <a href=\"http:\/\/amazon.com\">Amazon.com<\/a> digital gift card as a thank-you for participating. Compensation will be provided within a week after the study is completed.
