{"id":26,"date":"2014-01-21T02:48:17","date_gmt":"2014-01-21T07:48:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/art.buffalo.edu\/coursenotes\/art320\/?page_id=26"},"modified":"2025-12-16T17:21:04","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T22:21:04","slug":"grading","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ubwp.buffalo.edu\/art320\/syllabus\/grading\/","title":{"rendered":"Syllabus \u2014 Grading"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Evaluation of your performance for the semester will be based on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>two web design projects ( 60%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>five technical exercises (30%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>readings (10%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Excluding reading responses*, late assignments will be accepted (with instructor\u2019s prior approval), with the reduction of half a letter grade per week past the due date. (No more than 6 half-letter grades will be deducted, ie. at or after three weeks past due, what would have been A quality work would be reduced to no lower than a C.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*Reading responses are graded Pass\/Fail and may be submitted within three weeks of the due date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assignments may be improved and resubmitted for a higher grade.
