Academic Interest:<\/strong>
I am a prehistoric archaeologist interested in the European Neolithic and Chalcolithic. In particular, my fieldwork is focused on the prehistory of Bulgaria as it relates to the transmission of early agricultural practices from the Mediterranean to the Temperate climate zone and to the development of early urbanism in Southeast Europe. My PhD work focuses on digital archaeology and in the application of photogrammetry and GIS for the documentation of complex stratigraphic relationships. I have served as an excavation supervisor at the prehistoric sites of Ilindentsi-Masovets (Early Neolithic), Damyanitsa (Late Neolithic\/Early Chalcolithic), and Tell Yunatsite (Chalcolithic)\u2014each located in Bulgaria\u2014and am a fieldschool instructor for the Balkan Heritage Foundation.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Academic Interest: <\/strong>I am pursuing a career in collections management and archival work through the Anthropology and Library Sciences here at the University at Buffalo. I have long-lived passions in Egyptian and Mediterranean archaeology, along with Southeast Asia and Mesoamerican interests. I\u2019ve worked on two archaeological digs at Hopewell Native American settlement sites in Ohio and hope to continue working in the archaeological field. I am part of the Master\u2019s program here with a specialty in archaeology and I hope to turn my education into a career working with the conservation and preservation of archaeological material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
