<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nKate Kasoff, B.A.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kate is a Research Technician for the ECFP-3 project in the Social Development Lab. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Classics from Colby College. Prior to joining the lab, Kate conducted research in the Cognitive Development Lab at Colby on how preschoolers\u2019 moral judgements influence their memory (PI: Dr. Martha Arterberry). Her research interests center around developing prevention and intervention programs to support mental health in early childhood. She is particularly interested in how internalizing and externalizing behaviors occur together and influence developmental outcomes. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.. Email: kkasoff@buffalo.edu<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Josephine Mbiah, B.S.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Josephine is a Research Technician for the ECFP-3 project in the Social Development Lab. She received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from William & Mary. Prior to joining the lab, Josephine volunteered as an undergraduate research assistant in the World + Mind Research Lab at William & Mary (PI: Dr. Joanna Schug). She also completed an independent undergraduate honor thesis investigating how independent and interdependent self-construals\u00a0influence intragroup marginalization, cultural identity development, and identity denial amongst multicultural individuals. Josephine is interested in\u00a0how racial and cultural socialization, parenting practices, and environmental contexts influence self-identity development and peer relationships among children in immigrant and multicultural families. She is particularly interested in how these dynamics shape children’s navigation of their cultural identities across different developmental stages.She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.\u00a0\u00a0 Email:\u00a0jmbiah@buffalo.edu<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Gretchen Mueller, B.A.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Gretchen is a Research Technician for the ECFP-3 project in the Social Development Lab. She received her B.A. in Psychological Science and Spanish from Colgate University. Her prior research experiences have focused mainly on personality psychology. She is interested in investigating the etiology of disruptive behavior in early childhood and how this may inform treatments for young children and families. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology..
