<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\nKristin Tymchak Carrol, M.A.\/A.C.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kristin is the Project Manager for the Social Development Lab and coordinates the ECFP-3 project. She holds an M.A.\/A.C. degree in school psychology from the University at Buffalo, where she was involved in research examining academic writing interventions for elementary-aged students. Kristin also holds a B.A. in psychology from the University at Buffalo, where she completed an independent honors thesis examining the effects of social experience on mouse ultrasonic vocalization production. Prior to joining the lab, Kristin worked as a school psychologist intern in a local elementary school. She is interested in how peer and familial adversity impacts school readiness. Email: katymcha@buffalo.edu<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Kate Kasoff, B.A.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kate is a Research Technician for the ECFP-3 project in the Social Development Lab. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Classics from Colby College. Prior to joining the lab, Kate conducted research in the Cognitive Development Lab at Colby on how preschoolers\u2019 moral judgements influence their memory (PI: Martha Arterberry). Her research interests center around developing interventions to support mental health in preschool-aged children. She is particularly interested in identifying ways to deliver these interventions that increase their accessibility. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She received her B.A. in Psychology at SUNY Buffalo State University. Prior to joining the lab, she volunteered as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Relationships and Social Development Lab at Buffalo State (PI: Dr. Kamper-DeMarco). Hannah’s research interests broadly focus on how children\u2019s social experiences, particularly peer relationships, influence their emotion regulation and academic adjustment. She is also interested in how individual differences in stress physiology may shape children\u2019s responses to adversity. <\/strong>She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Email: hdickins@buffalo.edu<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Josephine Mbiah, B.S.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Josephine is a Research Technician for the ECFP-3 project in the Social Development Lab. She received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from William & Mary. Prior to joining the lab, Josephine volunteered as an undergraduate research assistant in the World + Mind Research Lab at William & Mary (PI: Dr. Joanna Schug). She also completed an independent undergraduate honor thesis investigating how independent and interdependent self-construals influence intragroup marginalization, multicultural identity development, and identity denial amongst multicultural individuals. Josephine is interested in how cultural background influences parenting practices among immigrant families raising children in a non-native country. She is also interested in how cultural background and environmental context shape peer relationships among bicultural and multicultural children, as well as how these dynamics may vary across different age groups. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She received her B.A. in Psychological Science and Spanish from Colgate University. Her prior research experiences have focused mainly on personality psychology. She is interested in researching the relationship between personality and psychopathology in child development. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
