My name is Nadejda Lisencu. I was born in Republic of Moldova and immigrated to United States 10 years ago. Since I left my hometown school early, I did not complete high school in Moldova, I took the GED test in USA and was admitted to Touro College in NYC. I finished my bachelor degree in Human Services with Cum Laude. I really enjoyed the experience and knowledge I accumulated obtaining my bachelor degree, so I decided to continue my education and achieve my life-long dream of becoming a social worker – so I applied to UB Graduate School of Social Work. Currently I am performing the final requirement in the program – the field placement.
I am married and have a beautiful 7 month old daughter, Daria Maria. My daughter will be traveling with me, so we both can discover the beautiful country of Moldova.
I am very excited about the new chapter in my life and about my internship in my home country.
