Exercise Science Internships

Description: All undergraduate Exercise Science students complete a 480-hour internship during their final semester in the program. The students complete their internships at a variety of settings (hospitals, schools, nonprofit organizations, small businesses, corporations) in locations throughout Western New York and beyond. These experiential learning experiences allow the students to provide assistance to a variety of organizations while taking what they have learned in the classroom and applying it in a real-world setting.

We have over 200 affiliated sites that students complete their internships at. Over 150 are in New York State and 110 are in Erie and Niagara counties. Examples of local community partners include, but are not limited to: Buffalo Bills; Buffalo Sabres; Catholic Health System; Kaleida Health; Roswell Park Cancer Institute
