The Center for Urban Studies has been involved in many transformation projects in Buffalo and Western New York throughout the last three decades. These Landmark Projects have\u00a0been a product of the center’s goal to\u00a0transform distressed urban neighborhoods into socially functional communities that are based on the principles of solidarity, collaboration, cosmopolitanism, reciprocity, participatory democracy and social justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
